Message from the Chairman

Wind energy has many advantages : it is renewable, endless, does not generate waste and is available everywhere. Economically profitable, it is also a source of job creation.

In France, renewable energy production is going to increase immensely over the next twenty years, with a specific objective: 8000 wind towers will be installed throughout our territory before 2020.

Today, the principal wind tower construction plants are far from France. They are found in Denmark, Germany and Spain. Therefore, transport from the factories to the installation sites is costly and complex.

As an industrialist in metalworking and boilermaking for nearly 30 years, these facts and my analysis of the market and development outlooks led me to want to cease this opportunity by creating Céole. My aim is to develop an industrial plant of reference to manufacture wind towers in order to respond to the market needs.

An investment of 11 million euros, 140 employees within three years: this is the challenge we took at the end of 2007 with the support of regional institutions and professional organizations in choosing to set up our manufacturing plant in Dijon in order to serve our European clients.

This industrial challenge is accompanied by a human challenge as the success of this project depends on the recruitment, training and qualifications of metalwork technicians and operators.
