History
The history of Céole, is first and foremost the history of Dominique Legros, its founder. A professional boilermaker, he has dedicated his career to metalwork and boilermaking and was the Boilermaking Department Manager at an industrial company. Upon the request of certain clients and noticing the emergence of renewable energies, he came to manufacture some thirty wind towers. With this success under his belt and encouraged by his clients’ trust, he decided to move up a gear and plans on building a manufacturing plant that is entirely dedicated to the production of wind towers.
After having searched for sites in eastern France that met the specifications, he decided to set up the company at an existing plant, modifying it to absorb this type of production. The company was created in August 2007 in Longvic, a suburb of Dijon. Céole was set up at the premises on October 1, 2007. At the end of December 2007, the machines finally arrived. Rollers, cross-arms, bridges, cabins…everything was assembled, tested and tuned. In January, the first associates joined the company. The mounting of the assembly line came along with them. On February 18, 2008, the first sheet was rolled. From corrections to improvements, from progress to advances, the solutions saw the day, one after another. Controls were passed and repairs and adjustments made. The ramp-up is long... Finally, on July 1, 2008, the first tower left the factory and entered the warehouse.
